Hildy's team at Duke medical center decided on the side of caution today and rescheduled her shoulder surgery until next Monday. She has a small fracture in a neck vertebrae and it can not be moved now. The shoulder surgery could affect it.
She did have a tracheotomy today so the feeding tube and oxygen are out of her mouth so her throat and mouth can begin healing and she will be more comfortable.
